real ale spacious rooms
The real ale selection was very good. Food was also quite good. I found the rooms spacious, even with a fridge stocked with real milk. Lovely views were nearby. I walked down to the River Taff and discovered the area's thermal spa history..
I experienced a hot water loss upon arrival. It happened as I prepared to find a dining option. Parking is limited on the premises. Additional parking is limited on nearby streets.

fresh produce cooked breakfast steak evening limited parking lack options
breakfast included locally sourced produce, cooked fresh! i also enjoyed the steak i had one evening. it was perfect after a long day.
i did notice a lack of evening food options on sunday! parking was limited when i arrived too.

The breakfast was cooked fresh and to order. The produce was EXCELLENT!!! The personnel was nice. Check-in and check-out were fast processes.
I noticed the parking could be full of pub customers in the afternoon.

spacious room hospitality items friendly host
The room was spacious and super clean with extra hospitality items. Fresh milk was in the mini fridge. The hosts were friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and refills were offered for tea, coffee, and toast.
There was no dedicated guest parking. Parking is limited on the premises and nearby streets. This could be a problem in the future.

there was no guest parking available parking nearby was also limited getting around was a challenge the hot water stopped working soon after i arrived
